The Jaap Jongejan international tournament hosted by VFC is an annual event, taking place at the end of each season. Throughout this tournament, volunteers of VFC try their very best to satisfy all visitors and participants.

This season, the 41^th edition of the Jaap Jongejan international tournament will be organized, which makes it one of the oldest international tournaments in the Netherlands. In 1973 the first edition of the tournament was held, welcoming one team from Southampton, England, as only foreign participant. Over the years, the tournament evolved into an event with 27 participating teams from 6 different countries.

During the tournament, U11, U13 and U15 youth teams will compete in groups of 9. As a result, each team will play 4 matches on Saturday and 4 matches on Sunday. Each of these matches will be played 11 versus 11 and according to the regulations of the KNVB.
